What does it really mean?

Marx on Globalisation
Edited and Selected by David Renton
Lawrence & Wishart Ltd 2001

pg 3-4

This is an introduction to what Marx believes Globalisation is. He is saying that Globalisation is the thing that best describes the way in which the World is shaped today. He is stating different people views on what they think Globalisation is. he states that the word Globalisation conjures up different thoughts for different people, for example, for some, they think about major mega-corporations taking over. He also mentions how Globalisation is beginning to take over everything  from social sciences to wars. He also says that different people have different ideas of Globalisation depending on where they fit into the social circles.

  1. The video seems to be focusing on the ease of communication that globalisation has allowed, which I would agree with.
